This year we used two of our favourite methods to create our Christmas wrapping paper – marbling paper and tie dying tissue paper.
This year, Miss Three with close supervision and help from her brother enjoyed joining in as we created our marbled paper.
I have written about the process for marbling paper here.
This year some of our marbled paper creations include:
Mostly red and white paper.
It’s also fun to create some “rainbow paper” too.
For the past few days we have had our tie dye tissue paper drying on our kitchen bench.
This year, we used water colour paints to colour the tissue paper.
I wrote about the process to tie dye tissue paper here.
Apart from gift wrap, we have used tie dye tissue paper to:
– Cover books. You can read about our tie dye covered books here.
Some of our tie dye tissue paper from this year includes:
Some brightly coloured paper too.
We have wrapped some pressies and used our paper to add a pop of colour to our gifts.
